A solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry was held at OrGMU

38 dentists will join the region, seven of whom have completed their studies with red diplomas. Igor Miroshnichenko, Rector of OrGMU, presented the diplomas and addressed the graduates with parting words. He emphasized the importance of their chosen profession and urged them not to lose touch with their alma mater: the university is always ready to support the professional development of doctors.

Vladimir Bobrov, Chief Federal Inspector for the Orenburg Region, also delivered a parting speech. He thanked the mentors and parents for their contribution to the development of specialists, and wished the graduates themselves not to look for easy ways, but to solve interesting and intense professional tasks.

The Faculty of Dentistry is one of the youngest in OrGMU, Dean Nina Denisyuk recalled. It was founded in 2002, and the duration of study in the specialty is 5 years. The high level of preparation of the current issue is confirmed by an average score of 4.71.

- Graduates who received diplomas with honors were awarded special recognition: Anastasia Kreidina, Ganira Mammadova, Danila Starkov, Zlata Chegleeva, Karina Shabayeva, Alina Shangareeva and Alena Sharapova, - she said. - People enter our profession not for the sake of big money, but to help people regain their health and self-confidence. Let dedication become the mainstay of dentists.

Leading industry experts came to congratulate the young specialists. Among the guests of honor was the chief dentist of the Ministry of Health of the Orenburg region, Chairman of the Dental Association of the Orenburg region, Chief physician of the Orenburg Regional Clinical Dental Clinic, Chairman of the State Examination Commission Svetlana Grechikhina.

- Today is both a joyful and a little sad day.: We are releasing you into an independent professional life," Natalia Kochkina, Head of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry, shared her feelings. - We have given you all the knowledge and skills, taught you how to make decisions. Now it's up to you.

Alexander Matchin, Head of the Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, stressed that the faculty continues to actively develop: now the Maxident Clinic, one of the top ten dental institutions in the country, has become one of the key practical bases for students.

The creative atmosphere of the holiday was created by Honored Artists of the Russian Federation, actors of the Orenburg Regional Drama Theater, who presented on stage a fragment of Anton Chekhov's short story "Surgery". Pavel Cerempilov, Director of the Orenburg State Regional Drama Theater named after M. Gorky, gave a bright gift to all those present.

At the end of the event, the graduates thanked their teachers for their support and invaluable experience, and also expressed gratitude to their parents, whose support and faith helped them to follow this path and achieve professional development.
